Muslim Prison Ministry is a faith based program. Directed by Abdul Shaheed; an Approved Volunteer with TDCJ since 2013. He is retrained every two years. The Ministry attends and conducts Friday Congregation Prayer and Open Call Taleem (Learning) classes. The Ministry SINCERELY BELIEVES that Bible and Quran knowledge knowledge must be the foundation for all other knowledge. The Ministry shares that knowledge with the goal of giving prisoners the correct mindset for becoming productive citizens.

ON BEHALF OF THE MUSLIM PRISONERS IN THE GATES-VILLE, TEXAS AREA; THE MINISTRY HAS DONATED $100.00 TO THE MASJID WARITHDEEN MOHAMMED FUND TO BUILD A HOUSTON, TEXAS COMMUNITY CENTER.
